These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern inquiries, subscriptions, meal programs, deliveries, online communications, and optional services provided by Meals on Wheels (“MOW”), a service operated by Cardinal Cuisine Food Concepts Inc. By ordering or using MOW, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The MOW service
MOW prepares and delivers personalized meals based on information supplied by the subscriber. Available programs may include general health-and-wellness meal plans, Cohen Lifestyle Center-related programs where applicable, diabetic or ketogenic preferences, cardiac rehabilitation dietary requirements, and other individualized meal arrangements that MOW agrees it can accommodate.
Menus, portions, ingredients, schedules, delivery coverage, availability, prices, and program inclusions may change. A subscription begins only after MOW confirms acceptance, scope, schedule, delivery area, and payment arrangements.
Optional premium RND consultation
A consultation with a Registered Nutritionist Dietitian is not included in the standard meal price unless expressly stated. It is a separate, premium add-on with its own professional fee, scheduling, scope, and consent requirements. Purchasing meals does not automatically establish a professional-client relationship with an RND.
2. Meal service—not diagnosis or medical treatment
MOW is a food preparation and delivery service. General meal personalization, website content, automated messages, and customer-support responses are not medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation supervision, or emergency advice.
Subscribers with diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, pregnancy, severe allergies, eating disorders, medication-related dietary restrictions, or other medical concerns should consult their physician and appropriately qualified health professionals. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
MOW does not promise or guarantee weight loss, laboratory improvement, disease control, rehabilitation outcomes, or any other clinical result. Individual responses vary.
3. Subscriber responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information reasonably needed to prepare and deliver your meals safely, including allergies, intolerances, restrictions, delivery details, and relevant professional instructions. You must promptly notify MOW of changes.
You remain responsible for:
- following the advice and orders of your physician and other treating professionals;
- reviewing confirmed menu information and asking questions before consumption;
- proper receipt, refrigeration, reheating, storage, and consumption of delivered meals;
- keeping delivery and contact information current;
- paying agreed charges and complying with confirmed ordering deadlines.
4. Orders, payments, changes, and delivery
Prices, billing cycles, payment deadlines, minimum order quantities, delivery charges, pause rules, cancellation deadlines, credits, and refund eligibility will be stated in the applicable offer, quotation, order confirmation, or subscription terms. Those confirmed commercial terms form part of these Terms.
Changes requested after preparation or procurement has begun may not be possible and may remain chargeable. Delivery windows are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, building access, security procedures, force majeure, or incorrect delivery information. Risk in the meals passes to the subscriber or authorized recipient upon delivery.
MOW may decline, pause, modify, or cancel an order if it cannot safely accommodate the requested diet, lacks necessary information, experiences supply or operational constraints, identifies abusive or fraudulent behavior, or reasonably believes service would create an unacceptable health or safety risk.
5. Ingredients, allergens, and food safety
MOW takes reasonable care to follow confirmed meal instructions. However, kitchens handle multiple ingredients, and absolute freedom from trace allergens or cross-contact cannot be guaranteed unless MOW expressly confirms a specific controlled arrangement in writing.
If a meal appears damaged, incorrectly labeled, improperly sealed, spoiled, or inconsistent with a declared severe allergy or restriction, do not consume it. Refrigerate or preserve relevant evidence where safe, photograph the item and label, and contact MOW promptly.
6. Service limitations
To the extent permitted by law, MOW is responsible only for losses directly caused by its proven breach, negligence, or willful misconduct. MOW is not responsible for outcomes caused by inaccurate or withheld subscriber information, failure to follow storage or reheating instructions, consumption after the stated period, third-party delivery conditions beyond reasonable control, or use of meals contrary to professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under Philippine law.
7. Privacy, communications, and general terms

You agree that MOW may send transactional communications necessary to manage inquiries, orders, subscriptions, deliveries, safety issues, and support. Promotional messages will be handled according to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may update these Terms prospectively; the updated date will appear above, and material changes will be communicated when required.
